DIRECTIONS: BUCKS COUNTY SPECIAL OLYMPICS SOFTBALL (Formerly CHALLENGER Baseball) WARRINGTON AND NEWTOWN FILED LOCATIONS

Newtown -     Helen Randle Park

This 30.8 acre park is located on Swamp Road adjacent to Bucks County Community College. This park has four softball fields, two baseball fields, two basketball courts, a playground, half-mile walking trail with exercise stations, restrooms, a concession stand and a picnic pavilion.

 

Warrington -     Barness Park

Barness Park is found at 2750 Bristol Road. Barness will be undergoing changes as the Board of Supervisors has recently purchased an adjoining property and will be integrating the two parcels of land together to update the park. Barness Park currently has a football field, 7 softball and baseball fields, several temporary fields, a small tot lot and a concession stand. The Warrington Athletic Association has used the fields for many years. The new plan anticipates adding additional fields and courts. Barness Park has 22.6 acres and was established in 1989.
