Athlete Application

Miracle League of Bucks County (formerly Special Olympics) is a program that operates in both Holland and Northampton area.  It has been in existence for 17 years and provides an environment for children with mental and physical handicaps the ability to enjoy "America's Favorite Pastime".  All players are accompanied by a "Buddy"* when at bat and in the field to help the children play the game and also protect them from injury.

The season runs from April through the end of June and is held every Sunday evening at both locations.  All players receive a uniform with their name on it and at the end of the season are present a trophy by none other than the Phillie Phanatic.  It is a very enjoyable and rewarding program for the players and buddies alike and they hope to enjoy success in this area for years to come.
